Report Vs Bath City
Arriving at the ground was great for me because I didn't think I could go but fortunately I did. It was wonderful to be back at Twerton Park and ready to watch Team Bath v Hemel Hempstead again! Hopefully for another great win! We were all very excited as we'd all been making Good Luck cards for Leon and preparing for the big game.
After paying and getting into the ground, we went round to watch Hemel and Bath warm up. We were mainly watching Hemel of course but we couldn't help noticing at the other end of the field that Team Bath were doing some pretty silly warm ups! They made us laugh whilst Hemel were doing a great job warming up. We were all feeling pretty confident after our last game against them.
Once again Billie would be the mascot. Hemel asked if she could be it again because of the luck she brought them last time. She was extremely happy! It must have been great to walk onto the pitch twice.
Unfortunately Team Bath took an early lead with quite a good goal I have to say but we were still confident as we beat them 3-1 last time. We cheered them on and with great skill we got a goal from taking a brilliant corner. But sadly for us Team Bath didn't stop there. The goals kept coming from Team Bath and as we went into the second half things weren't looking good but we kept cheering them on (and after all we did have our goalkeepers lucky gloves that Steve Smith had given us!).
Hemel had quite a few good chances but Team Bath's defence was very strong and it was hard to get a goal in and when we did occasionally get past the defence we had a problem still because their goalie was good. Sippetts had a good try at a header but was unlucky. The game ended 3-1 to Team Bath but their number 6 should have been sent off for grabbing Hemel's players.
We'd had balloons and confetti to throw over them too and I'd kept a balloon to keep for as long as possible. Some people stayed behind and got more autographs!
Although we had an unfortunate game we had had a fabulous day out! We all still love The Tudors and hopefully will follow them for the rest of our lives!
